One of the first things that people think when offered a timeshare is that it is a potential fraud or deliberate scam. That is why it is important to do the groundwork before buying a timeshare and check out the validity of the company you are buying with. The reality is that there are companies out there that are intentional scams.

What about The Villa Group Timeshare? Scam or Genuine?

If you are thinking about or have just bought a timeshare with The Villa Group you can breathe a sigh of relief to know that The Villa Group is one of Mexico’s most reputable and trustworthy companies selling vacation ownership. With over 28 years to its name, you can be sure that its properties are genuine and that you will be toasting a margarita with your loved one on your private balcony within the next year.

The Villa Group operates various resorts in Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, Cancun and Cabo San Lucas, all of which are built to the same excellent standards and boast exceptional facilities and accommodations. Depending on the amount of money you wish to invest, there are fantastic options for all budgets, and upgrades are an ever growing delight for those looking for luxurious residence clubs and exclusive deals.

Will I be a victim of the hard sell?

The Villa Group has very strict guidelines for sellers, under the philosophy that the properties should sell themselves. When offering such great value for money and quality, there really is no need for lies and misrepresentation. That is why The Villa Group welcomes your comments if you feel that you have been misled in any way. Always take note of the name of the person you were dealing with.

Can I exchange my Villa Group timeshare?

Yes, The Villa Group offers those who have bought a timeshare with them to join a membership program called Villa Preferred Access that allows you to exchange your timeshare week for points and thus then exchange those points for another of The Villa Group’s resorts and/or properties depending on the level of membership you have. You may also join Interval International Vacation Club where you can further exchange your timeshare for a property in a different country worldwide, or even a cruise vacation.

Looking for reviews about Villa Group timeshare. I’m going to a presentation and don’t really know what to expect. I just hope it’s not a scam!

I’ve been with Villa Group for 10 years. No regrets. No scam. We bought in Puerto Vallarta when it was still weekly timeshare memberships and then upgraded to what they call Villa Preferred Access which turned our timeshare into points that we could use to make reservations at any of the resorts offered by Villa Group timeshare. I’m a happy member.

We bought a Villa Group timeshare when we were staying at Villa del Palmar Cancun. We haven’t been to any of the other resorts yet but I can’t wait to visit Cabo.
